Class Times
Weekly Classes 2025
Classes are held during the school term and generally in the first week of school holidays. As competition season draws near, a Saturday or Sunday may be allocated for practice. Coaches will advise parents of this.

Requirements:
Calisthenics is a competitive sport. A passionate commitment is required during the year to attend:

Up to 4 Competitions in various locations (e.g. Shepparton, Echuca, Melbourne and Bendigo)

The end-of-season Club Concert
Attendance at weekly classes, dress rehearsals, and competitions is considered compulsory.

Travel and accommodation for competitions may be required, along with spectator admission fees.

Calisthenics can become a lifestyle and an excellent social opportunity to establish lifelong friendships.
Attendance:

Calisthenics is a team sport, so regular attendance is of utmost importance.

If pupils have school/study commitments, the coach must be informed.

Class days and times depend on the availability of coaches.
Punctuality:

Pupils are expected to be prompt to class and ready to commence at the appropriate time.

It is essential to let the coach know beforehand if a pupil will be late or absent from class.

Parents are expected to leave the classroom before the commencement of lessons to minimise distractions.

A quick exit at the end of class is also required to ensure the following class commences on time.

Class times have been structured for minimal interruptions. If you wish to speak to the coach, please arrange a suitable time with them.
Viewing Nights:

Parents can sit in the classroom at specific times throughout the training season to watch the progress of routines. These nights are organised at the discretion of the coach
Security:

Pupils are to be dropped off and collected from inside the Hall

Parents of pupils in tinies, sub-juniors, and juniors must sign an attendance register at the beginning and end of class.

Intermediates and/or their parents must sign the attendance register at the beginning and end of class.
Presentation:

Pupils are to wear black leotards. In cooler weather, black leggings and long-sleeve leotards can be worn.

T-shirts and Jumpers must be removed before the commencement of class.

Hair is to be out of the pupil's face. Long hair must be in a ponytail or bun.
Classes are held at our purpose-renovated hall at 26 Packham Street, Shepparton.
